JetSmith is now part of FlyHouse in a move that sees its founder and team join the 2021 start-up which offers instant charter booking.
Adam Smith is joining FlyHouse as President of 3P Broker Development & Operator Relations.
As part of the move, FlyHouse is acquiring JetSmith.
Per its website, JetSmith provides on-demand charter brokerage, aircraft sales, and consulting.
The JetSmith team now joins FlyHouse.
FlyHouse is promising a broad-based, instant-booking charter solution.
In addition to B2C, there is a B2B component.
Smith is charged with expanding its third-party broker and operator network worldwide.
Per the release, Smith plans to increase third-party broker affiliates on the broker version of its proprietary digital platform.
Smith’s role includes broker development, operator partnerships, and strategic relationships, “helping strengthen collaboration and access across the charter market.”
CEO Jack Lambert, Jr., says, “Our goal is to make private aviation transactions not just transparent, but to eliminate unnecessary costs artificially driving up pricing on consumers.”
He adds, “Our 3P marketplace is free for brokers, unlike other platforms that are designed to charge brokers per transaction, requiring either the broker to absorb the costs or pass it on to the consumer.”
Smith brings over two decades of experience working with private flyers and family offices.
Per the release:
‘By joining FlyHouse, Jetsmith integrates into a nationwide platform spanning operations, aircraft management, maintenance, and proprietary technology, pairing its relationship-first approach with FlyHouse’s scale and infrastructure. Adam and his team will continue to lead and grow the business within the ecosystem, ensuring continuity while expanding capability.’
Separately, Alex Caruso has been named Director of 3P.
Smith said, “Private aviation has always been about relationships and taking care of people the right way.”
He adds, “Joining the team gives us the ability to keep that personal approach while offering greater reach, resources, and opportunity across the platform.”
Last December, FlyHouse acquired Sun Air Jets.
In June 2024, it acquired JetASAP, a direct-to-consumer platform that connects operators and end users.
